At Lieve Draad, we craft every item specifically for you. Because our products are personalized, our return policy differs from standard retail policies. Below, we outline exactly what is and isn't possible.
No Right of Withdrawal for Customized Items
Under the law (artikel 10 van de Wet Koop op Afstand (Article 10 of the Distance Selling Act)), personalised products are exempt from the right of withdrawal. This means you cannot return or cancel your order once it has gone into production.
Why? Our items are made uniquely for you: featuring name or chosen color of item. Therefore, they cannot be resold.
When are returns accepted?
You can, of course, contact us if:

The item is damaged upon receipt;

The item contains a manufacturing error (e.g., an embroidery mistake that does not match your order);

You received the wrong item.
How do I report a problem?
Please email us within 10 days of receipt at info@lievedraad.com with the subject line: "Return Order Number №...".

Photos of the item (clearly showing the error or damage)
We will review your report within 3 business days and contact you to find a suitable solution.
Possible Solutions
Depending on the situation, we may offer:

A free replacement/remake of your item;

A refund;

An appropriate discount on a future order.
Note: Returns sent without prior approval will NOT be processed.

We are not responsible for errors in the specifications you provided (e.g., a misspelled name).

Minor variations in color is not considered manufacturing defects. These are part of our handmade products.
